Carrier Research

Carrier research is the process of matching potential carriers to your employee benefit risks, and identifying which carriers will deliver the most effective pricing. By sufficiently researching all potential carriers, you can ensure you receive the best pricing for your risk.

However, price is only one part of the equation. At Benefits 7 we thoroughly research all potential vendors for our clients to ensure we don’t experience surprises post-implementation.

Request for Proposal  Once contractual agreements with insurers and vendors are implemented, it is important to ensure all contracts match up to the specifications laid out in the request for proposal process. Insurance contract analysis requires an ongoing effort, since you will at times see changes and amendments to contracts mid-year.  Benefits 7, Inc. works diligently to stay ahead of these changes, ensuring our clients are aware of them and that substantive changes are avoided if possible (or at a minimum accounted for in the premiums or fees).  Finally, by closely monitoring the contracts of our clients, Benefits 7 makes sure that these insurance carriers and vendors live up to their promises. Too often, this step is not properly managed and thus leads to a poor client and/or employee experience.  Benefits 7 stands firmly in this gap, helping our clients to have a good experience with their chosen vendors.

Contract Analysis/Monitoring

To ensure a company actually purchases the services they need, proper development of requests for proposals is important. By adequately addressing all areas of plan design and completely identifying expectations from the outset, you can remove the chance for ambiguity in the future.
